April trip to Arizona

After an interesting week (plane wreck where 2 coworkers were killed, and a step-niece Cassidy was hit by a car (luckily came out with only a concussion and scrapes, after the lifeflight to the hospital)) - I decided I had better get to Arizona to see Grandma with Mom and the gang. Life is too short, and we take too many things for granted. So I travelled went down to Arizona on the Apr 11th-14th.

Wade and picked me up from the airport on Saturday (after it had rained in Phoenix and snowed in Prescott!). Wade has been hitting the treadclimber hardcore in the last few months and it showed. Micelle had the next few nights off from her nursing job, so we all got together with Ty and his girlfriend Laura that night at Micelle and Wade's house.

On Sunday we drove from Prescott down south and hung with friends down in Sun City. They live near one of the retirement communities, where everyone enjoys sitting outside enjoying the weather and playing on the golf course. The weather was great - in the upper 70s.

On Monday, Ty and Laura met up with Wade, Micelle, and I and then we all were off to see Grandma, Mom, Jenny and her daughter Jannessa. Grandma was in good spirits and is still sharp as a tack. She is 98 and will be 99 later this year and is still going strong. She seems to enjoy living there in Suprise Arizona and is happy, which is what matters. A fun time was had by all.
